In 2014, my then-five-year-old daughter had a horrible encounter with natural elements as she did what children everywhere love to do – play outside.
She contracted a severe rash that spread from her neck to her arms, back, and chest. I sought the help of a dermatologist, and her allergy screening revealed that she was severely allergic to 36 of the 51 grass, tree, and shrub-related allergens tested.
Trips to the doctor, prescribed medications, and recommended over-the-counter solutions were completely ineffective, so she continued to scratch and writhe in pain night after night.
The remedy that I created for her not only instantly relieved her torturous itching, but within 48 hours, had cleared the rash and sores that by that point had begun turning to bleeding wheps.
I decided to take my gift more seriously, and with the selfless help and support of my sister, EFFECT Naturals Skincare Essentials was born - a full line of all-natural head-to-toe daily personal care solutions that my family, friends, and community could use to help combat various forms of skin irritation resulting from chronic dryness.
